    You can book an overnight stay with confidence knowing that we offer free cancellations on all fully-flex rates up until 10:00am on the day of arrival.

    We will remain open for guests travelling for work, education or other permitted reasons. During this time we are very sorry that our public areas will be closed and we won’t be offering a restaurant dining menu, however, we do have breakfast items available to enjoy in your room.

  • Covid-19: Can I Book A Business Meeting Or Event?

    Meetings and events can take place for up to 30 delegates.

    The safety of our guests and teams is our number one priority and since reopening we have won various awards for our Covid secure operations that are in place across our property and within our business areas.

    The safety of our guests and team members is our number one priority so we have put in many measures across our properties to ensure our guests can feel confident when visiting and staying in our properties and our team members can feel confident working in them too.

    To keep us all safe, we ask guests to wear face coverings in line with Government guidance.

    We're also proud to have been awarded the 'We're Good To Go' certificate from Visit England; the official mark to confirm we have a risk assessment and the correct processes in place to make North Lakes safe for our team and guests.

    AA COVID-19 Confident:
    We’re also really proud to have been accredited COVID-19 Confident by the AA – another independent assessment of the safety measures we have in place.

  • COVID-19: Dining With Us

    Following the current Government guidelines, our bar and restaurant areas will remain closed. We will be able to provide guests with details of local businesses who will deliver food to the hotel for guests to consume in your guestroom. We also have breakfast items available to enjoy in your room. Please speak to our reception team for more details.

  • COVID-19: Spa Facilities & Treatments

    In line with Government guidance, our spa and fitness facilities are currently closed. We apologise that we are unable to offer these facilities to you at this time.

  • COVID-19: ROOM INFORMATION REGARDING GUESTS SHARING

    In line with Government guidance, room sharing is only allowed with people from the same household or part of a support bubble. Multi-household room sharing is not allowed.

  • COVID-19: Meetings, weddings and receptions

    Our meeting spaces are a COVID secure environment, meaning we can continue to allow up to 30 people in our setting with social distancing and our COVID Risk Assessment measures are enforced.

    With regards to weddings we are only able to offer intimate weddings in exceptional circumstances for up to 6 guests. Government guidance can be viewed here. 

  • COVID-19: Gift Voucher Extensions

    Following on from the Government announcement on 4th January 2021, our hotel will remain temporarily closed for all leisure stays.

    Therefore, we’re extending all gift vouchers due to expire between 1st November 2020 and 28th February 2021 to the 31st August 2021.

  • COVID-19: Government Changes to VAT in Hospitality

    We can confirm that the rate at which you booked your guestroom still stands and we would like to explain the reason for this.

    The reduction in VAT is a great initiative which has been introduced to help hospitality businesses during these challenging times as per the guidance released from the Government. The full announcement can be seen here and below is a summary of the key messages:

    “The government made an announcement on 8 July 2020 allowing VAT registered businesses to apply a temporary 5% reduced rate of VAT to certain supplies relating to:

    • Hospitality
    • Hotel and holiday accommodation
    • Admissions to certain attractions


    The temporary reduced rate will apply to supplies that are made between 15 July 2020 and 31st March 2021.

    These changes are being brought in as an urgent response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic to support businesses severely affected by forced closures and social distancing measures.”

    After sadly being closed for three months and the increased costs we need to absorb in line with government guidance, our business has been severely affected by the pandemic. This initiative is a huge support to our business and the hospitality sector as a whole and it also enables us to bring more of our valued team members back off furlough.

    We hope you understand why the rate at which you booked your guestroom still stands. We hugely value your custom and support and we are really looking forward to welcoming you. We would also like to take this opportunity to reassure you that your safety and wellbeing are at the forefront of everything we do to ensure that you have a memorable and enjoyable stay with us.

  • What are check in and check out times?

    You’re welcome to check in from 3 pm, and you’ll be able to visit the spa and enjoy all the facilities from this time too.  Check out time is 11 am, although a late check out can be arranged for a small supplement (subject to availability).

  • Is the hotel dog-friendly?

    We do have a small number of dog friendly bedrooms in the hotel.  Dogs are welcome in the lobby, bar and terrace areas of the hotel.

  • Is there a car park?

    Yes - we have a complimentary car park at the front of the hotel.

  • What family facilities are there?

    We have family rooms that can take up to 2 adults and 3 children (depending on ages) and we do have some interconnect rooms too.  We offer high chairs, children’s menus and cots. 

    Children are permitted in the swimming pool Monday – Thursday between 8.00–11.00am and 3.00–6.00pm, and on a Friday between 8.00–11.00am and 3.00– 7.30pm.  Children are welcome in the pool at any time on weekends and bank holidays.

  • Do you cater for special diets?

    Yes – we have a team of talented in house chefs and if you let us know – ideally in advance for more unusual requests – we’ll do all we can to ensure you can enjoy a great meal with us. Vegetarian and gluten-free dishes appear on our main menu as
    the norm.
